The Fashion Show at Iowa State University is the largest student run fashion show in America. In 2021 it was held outdoors at Iowa State University Reiman Gardens for the first time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In 2022 it returned to its home, Stephens Auditorium at Iowa State. The theme for the show was Resurgence, a return to life. In this school year we saw life return to campus and the organization as the pandemic slowed and wanted to celebrate life with the show. This year I was the director of the Set Design team along with two other co-directors. We led a team of 9 design students to complete two set designs for the show, one following the theme of Resurgence and the other theme following the guest designer, Urban Outfitters. From this process I learned how to keep a timeline, come up with creative solutions, the importance of keeping your workspace clean, communicating with a team, grading assignments, and how to work with a team to successfully complete a project.
