Portraits of the Present was my on going assignment in my independent studio second semester senior year. the goal of this study was to appreciate what I have accomplished but to move forward with an open mind, it was about how to artfully approach the time of transition. It started as a book of portraits of people I would see on the sidewalk around campus and then became a full book of every project I completed in my four years, every friend I made, every little story I wanted to remember, every club I was a part of. I captured it all in one book. While the present is an ever changing time, this book stands as a reminder that the present is a gift and those four years were something I will always cherish. Shown are 26 of the 183 pages to express the energy this book gives off.
